Project Measures: The Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development (MADS), through Patrimonio Natural, as Financial Mechanism of the REM Program Colombia – Amazon Vision, intends to use the financial contributions of the results-based programme, “REDD for Early Movers programme / Colombia, co-financed by the Kingdom of Norway, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW, to eligible payments under the contract for which this International Competitive Bidding is issued.

Patrimonio Natural invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the aforesaid consultant services.

Requested Services: Consultant Services to “Formulate the Forest Zoning Plan in the Guaviare Department in block 1 composed by blocks North A, North B, West A and West B 706.846 hectares”.

The consultant should achieve the following goals:

  1. Forest Management Plan for the Guaviare Department, socially accepted by the community, which can be adopted by the Regional Environmental Authority “Corporación para el Desarrollo Sostenible del Norte y el Oriente Amazónico – CDA”.
  2. Forest Planning Tool, to guide the sustainable development, identifying areas for the production of timber and non-timber forest goods and areas of absolute protection.
  3. Continuous flow of forest products without reducing the future productivity, generating added value to local communities.
  4. Guidelines Document to prevent and mitigate environmental and social impacts, as a added value to local communities and as a contribution to halt deforestation.
